Stabbing victim was brother of RI Supreme Court Justice

There are new details about the victim of a stabbing in Pawtucket late Tuesday afternoon.

According to Major Arthur Martins, police responded to the scene of an assault at around 4:45 p.m. near 151 Benefit Street. He says when they arrived, they found a male victim seriously injured with possible stab wounds. 

The victim, 53-year-old William McKenna of Pawtucket, was sent to Pawtucket Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. ABC6 has learned that McKenna was the younger brother of Rhode Island State Supreme Court Justice Maureen McKenna Goldberg. 

The investigation into the murder is still ongoing.
