State Police arrest 37 for DUIs this holiday season

Rhode Island State Police cracked down on drunk drivers this
holiday season.

Colonel Steven O’Donnell announced that additional patrols
helped Troopers target drunk drivers and speeders as well as child restraint or
seat belt violators.

From December 13 to January 1, Troopers reported 37 DUI
arrests and investigated 321 crashes. There were also 272 seatbelt or child
restraint violations.
