State Police identify bones found off Rt. 95 in Pawtucket

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Rhode Island State Police have identified the bones found off Route 95 in Pawtucket in February, according to a statement released Friday.

Police say the bones belong to Felix Colon, a Pawtucket man last seen June 16,2019.

Investigators were first able to match clothing found at the scene with items worn by Colon.

The Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office later used forensic evidence to for a positive identification.

The manner and cause of death have not yet been determined, police said.
