Rhode Island State Police have located the good Samaritan they were searching for through social media who helped save the life of a motorcyclist after an accident on December 12th.

Police say the individual came to the victim’s aid on the ramp from Route 37 West to I 295 North in Cranston around 12:30 p.m.

The woman identified herself on scene as an Intensive Care Unit nurse at a hospital. She was the first medical professional to stop and render aid by performing CPR. She an two other emergency medical techs, a doctor and a nurse, took turns giving mouth-to-mouth and chest compressions until emergency responders arrived.

Police say if it were not for this good Samaritan and the other medical personnel the motorcyclist would not have survived.

They have not yet released her identity, but thanked the public for sharing their Facebook post and helping locate her.
