PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Department of Health said they will close all State-run COVID-19 testing sites on Sunday, due to an incoming storm.

The department said in anticipation of inclement weather, the State-run testing sites will be closed February 7.

Health officials on Saturday said both indoor and outdoor sites will be closed, and those who had appointments for Sunday will not have to schedule a new appointment.  The Department of Health said when the sites reopen, those with appointments for Sunday, can go to the site that they were originally scheduled to be tested.

All State-run testing sites are those that have been scheduled through portal.ri.gov, as well as all K-12 sites.
