Rehoboth police arrest man for stealing car

On Wednesday morning, Rehoboth police received a phone call form a resident on Tremont St. reporting that his 2006 Honda Odyssey had been stole from his driveway.

Rehoboth Patrolman Timothy J. Bartucca found the vehicle being driven into Attleboro on Park St. shortly after the incident was reported.

The vehicle was stopped and Patrolman Bartucca assisted by Attleboro police took the operator of the stolen vehicle, Gordon Davis, into custody.

Davis, 42, of 22 Prospect St. North Attleboro, MA, was faced with multiple charges including Larceny of a motor vehicle, operate motor vehicle with license revoked, carrying a dangerous weapon, threat to commit a crime, and resisting arrest.

Davis complained of having difficulty breathing and was transported to Sturdy Memorial hospital where he was treated and released. After booking, Davis was then transported to Taunton District Court for arraignment.
