A Doctor at South County Hospital was indicted for allegedly sexually assaulting a female.

The Washington County Grand Jury reported the indictment Monday, charging Dr. Henry Cabrera with two counts of second degree sexual assault.

According to court documents, the 39-year old doctor from Charlestown engaged in sexual contact with the female victim in South Kingstown, between June 30, 2013 and September 30, 2013. The doctor supposedly touched the victim’s breasts and forced her hand onto his genital area.

The investigation was conducted by the Rhode Island State Police.

ABC6 was able to reach Dr. Cabrera by phone at his office in South County Hospital, but he declined to comment.

South County Hospital also declined to comment on the doctor’s indictment.

Dr. Cabrera is listed as Chief of Anesthesiology on the hospital's website.

Cabrera is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County Superior Court on August 5, 2016.
