EASTON, Mass. (WLNE) -- Bristol County's District Attorney has released the name of a man killed in a pedestrian crash on Rt. 138 in Easton.

Responders found Mark Bobbitt, 64, of Easton, suffering from life-threatening injuries and receiving help from two bystanders after he was hit by a pickup truck with a plow.

Bobbitt was rushed to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police said the man had pulled over and was changing a tire by the side of road when he was hit by the truck.

The driver, a 63-year-old Marlborough man, stayed on scene and cooperated with police.

The incident is currently under investigation.
