A frightening morning in a quiet Dartmouth neighborhood Wednesday after four men forced their way into a home armed with a gun.

Police said the home invasion took a major turn after the homeowner confronted the crooks and they took off.

Police got the call at around 10:20 a.m. on Gibson Terrace.

Authorities are now on the look-out for three white men in black clothing and a black man dressed in gray.

Neighbors like Kiki Feldmar are stunned to hear of such a brazen crime in her neighborhood.

"I was in my kitchen window about mid-morning [and] I saw two men turn on the street with a dog. Then I realized they were police officers," she said. "It's kind of scary, yea."

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dartmouth Police Department.
