NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) - The man accused of stabbing his father to death was arraigned Monday morning.

North Providence Police and Fire departments responded to a Gale Court address around 5:00 p.m. last Tuesday in response to a call about an unresponsive male.

When police arrived on scene they located a male, identified as Clark Murray Sr., 70, who was unresponsive and appeared to have been stabbed with a sharp instrument. Murray Sr. was determined to be dead on the scene.

The second male, identified as Clark Murray Jr., 40, was inside the house when Police arrived and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he is being treated for life threatening injuries. Police said Murray Jr. suffered injuries to the neck and throat area, and was observed removing a knife from one of his wounds when police arrived. 

 On March 20th, Police said that Clark Murray Jr. is under police guard at RI Hospital. 

Clark Murray Jr. was arraigned in his hospital bed Monday morning. He is being charged with domestic murder and is being held without bail.
