Woman charged with DUI after a wrong-way crash in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I (WLNE) - Rhode Island State police arrested a woman on Friday night for Reckless Driving, DUI, and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.
According to police, officers responded to a call of a wrong-way crash near Resevoir Avenue where the driver, identified as 44-year-old Pawtucket resident, Cristal Ferreira, was driving south in the northbound lane and crashed into a center median.
Police say she was not in the vehicle when they arrived and was located on Molter Street.
According to police, Ferreira was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for minor injuries, was released and transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.
