Police rule woman's fatal fall an accidental death
Police say the woman who fell to her death Sunday accidentally fell out of a third-story window.
Marangely Colon lived at the Wendell St. home with her boyfriend. Police say they had an argument early Sunday, and he left the house.
As he was driving away, police say, she opened a third-story window and started throwing things at him.
He drove off. That’s when, according to police, Colon lost her balance and fell out of the window. The medical examiner confirmed that her injuries were consistent with a fall, and nothing else.
Police say her boyfriend is fully cooperating with officers.
They originally were investigating the fall as a possible homicide. They added that if they come across any evidence that points to the fact that this was not an accidental death, they will investigate it.
