WARWICK, R.I (WLNE) - Rhode Island State Police are currently investigating an accident that killed two men early Sunday morning.

Police were alerted to a single car crash in Warwick, on I-95 near exit 10, around 4:00 a.m where a 4 passenger vehicle drove off the highway and struck a tree.

According to police, both the driver and front passenger were dead when they arrived, with the driver being partially ejected from the seat. 

Both rear passengers were sent to the hospital with minor injuries. 

At this time the cause of the crash is currently unknown, but police say speed and fatigue are possible factors. 

No IDs have been released at this time, and the story will be updated as more information becomes available.
