2 dead after fatal motorcycle accident in Boston

BOSTON, MASS (WLNE) - Massachusetts State Police are currently investigating a double fatal accident involving two motorcycles from early Saturday Morning in the Thomas P. O'Neill Tunnel.
According to the police, a preliminary investigation indicates that a group of several motorcyclists were riding on Route 93 northbound around 2:00 a.m.
For reasons that are still under investigation, two operators lost control of their motorcycles in the tunnel and crashed at Exit 23.
Both drivers were determined to be deceased on scene, with two other cyclists remaining on scene with the victims.
The Massachusetts State Police have identified the victims as young adult mails.
Their names have not been released pending the notification of the next-of-kin.
Two lanes remain closed to facilitate the ongoing crash investigation.
