Barrington Little League Moves On from Controversy, World Series Festivities Start
After being accused of cheating by the Goffstown, NH team they beat in the New England Region Championship, the Barrington Little League team has moved on.
After the New Hampshire state champion told the New Hampshire Union Leader they thought the Rhode Island state champions were stealing signs, manager Chris Promades told ABC6 News, "For a coach from another team to try and take that away from them is really disgusting and shameful."
The Little League released a statement calling the situation closed and did not announce any penalty.
The team started its Williamsport experience with a barbecue and parade to kick off the World Series.
