Jeff Howe of The Athletic was the first to report Monday night that Patriots center David Andrews was hospitalized with a blood clot in his lung. The Boston Globe's Jim McBride reporting later in the evening that the two-time Pats captain had been released from the hospital after being treated. The medical issue is reportedly expected to sideline Andrews for a significant amount of time & his season may be in jeopardy. Andrews has been with the Patriots since 2015, when the team signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia.
