PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) - Providence police detectives are currently investigating two separate stabbings that happened during the early Saturday morning hours. 

Police confirmed that one stabbing happened on Admiral Street near Jamra Hookah Lounge, where a 19-year-old male was stabbed shortly after midnight. 

The second stabbing happened to a 21-year-old male who was walking the vicinity of Academy and Atwells Avenue at 1:45 a.m. 

Police say one person was transported to Rhode Island Hospital from each scene. 

The 19-year-old is in stable condition at the hospital at last check, and the 21-year-old has been treated and released.

Police have not confirmed any arrests at this time.
