PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) - Jamra Hookah Lounge is temporarily closed following a stabbing outside on Admiral Street.
The Providence Board of Licenses held an emergency meeting Saturday after a 19-year-old male was stabbed outside the lounge early that morning.
Providence Police say the stabbing occurred following an argument from inside the lounge. The argument was then taken outside.
Mark Daniel, 31, was arrested and charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, and according to police is in stable condition at last check.
The Board of Licenses will meet Wednesday for a hearing to decide what will happen to Jamra Hookah Lounge.
