CANTON, Mass. (WLNE) -- From scaling trees to rope climbing, navigating obstacles or zip-lining through the air, here folks are getting back to nature and getting a workout along the way.

This is the fourth year for TreeTop Adventures in Canton. The outdoor adventure course draws people of all ages from across Southern New England.

"The technology of these clips, of being locked on, was a complete game-changer in ropes courses really," said TreeTop Adventures owner Topher Kerr.

Side-by-side trails cater to just about every skill level.

"They'll be on the black and blues but their colleagues are on the yellows and greens down around, and they're all together. So, powerfully, it can reset social stuff," said Kerr.

For many families it's about getting kids away from devices and into real-world fun, and the feeling of accomplishment makes it all worth it.

"I get a great sense of pride at 40-plus years of age. My kids get a great sense of pride," said Danielle Rabina.

"I just like it because it's like fun//you can do different stuff and learn how to do it," said Isaac Boros.

TreeTop adventures is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Veterans Day.
