RI native raised over a million dollars for disaster relief in Bahamas
A Rhode Island native is spearheading another major fundraiser.
Brad Faxton, is helping with the disaster relief in the Bahamas, which is still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Dorian which was a category 5 hurricane when it hit there.
Faxton helped raise more than $1.5 million dollars during the “Bahamas Strong Pro-AM” in Florida on Tuesday. That money will go towards recovery efforts in the Bahamas.
Faxton and Billy Andrade have raised millions of dollars for local charities over the last 20 years with the CVS Charity Classic at the Rhode Island Country Club.
