JAMESTOWN, R.I (WLNE) - A Jamestown woman accused of having sex with a minor is scheduled to appear in court later in the month.
The Rhode Island attorney general's office said on Thursday that a grand jury returned an indictment charging 57-year-old maria Asciolla with four counts of first-degree child molestation after she is alleged to have had sex with a 14-year-old boy.
The alleged acts occurred between November 24, 2016, and September 29, 2018.
The Jamestown police conducted the investigation.
Asciolla is scheduled to be arraigned on November 21 in Newport County Superior Court.
