CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) - On November 22, 2019, Rhode Island State Police announced that members of both the High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (HIDTA), as well as Cranston Police- Special Investigation Unit, arrested a Cranston man on narcotics and weapons charges.
 
Carlos M. Washington, 26, of 301 Oaklawn Avenue, Apartment 204, Cranston, R.I. was arrested on a Rhode Island State Police Affidavit and Arrest Warrant.
 
 
Washington was then arraigned at Kent County Hospital and ordered held without bail, said Officials in this case.
 
It is said that Washington's next court date will be Monday, November 25, 2019, at Third Division District Court where he will appear for a formal arraignment.
 
Police stated they seized from the residence of Washington the following:
  • 27 grams of suspected Crack Cocaine
  • Oxycodone pills
  • $112,685 dollars in cash
  • 1 Ruger .380 Handgun
