BARRINGTON, R.I. (WLNE) - On Sunday morning around 11 a.m. the Barrington Fire Department responded to reports of smoke at Tiffany's Hair Salon on 21 West Street.

Once on the scene, officials noticed that fire was starting to erupt from the first floor of the building.

Crews were able to determine that it was coming from the walls of the building as an electrical fire.

National Grid had to cut power from the building.

The salon will remain closed until further notice but is not a total loss.
