NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. - Crews in North Kingstown were called to a second alarm house fire late Monday night on Pleasant Street.

Fire Chief Scott Kettelle said around 10:30 p.m. the North Kingstown Fire Department responded to the home at 58 Pleasant St. for a report of a possible building fire. 

When crews arrived smoke and flames were visible on the second floor of the building, Kettelle said.

Firefighters made an interior attack to put out the fire on the second and third floors of the home. 

Firefighters from East Greenwich and Warwick were called to the scene to assist crews from North Kingstown.

No injuries were reported and the fire is under investigation by the North Kingstown Fire Marshal's office.
