Strong storms possible Friday; spectacular weekend ahead
Clouds hung tough once again today, keeping temperatures down in the 70s. But don’t worry, the sun will be back soon.
We will have to get through some thunderstorms on Friday first, a few of which could be on the stronger side.
A cold front will arrive by midday tomorrow, bringing drenching showers and an isolated severe thunderstorm.
While the overall threat is on the lower side, the threat is there – severe storms can produce hail. gusty winds and even a tornado.
The sun should begin to break out in the afternoon as the weather quiets down. I can’t rule out a leftover shower through the evening, but the improvements will be evident.
Humidity will drop sharply behind the front and Saturday will feel spectacular! Expect a mix of sun and clouds and comfortable temperatures in the upper 70s.
Sunday will be a bit warmer, making it a perfect beach day.
