UPDATE: Police issue arrest warrants for suspects in UMass Dartmouth dorm stabbing

UPDATE: Campus Police announce Friday night that they have obtained arrest warrants for two people in connection to the stabbing. They are working with local law enforcement to apprehend the suspects.

A student was stabbed on the campus of UMass Dartmouth last night. The incident took place in the Cedar Dell Dorms just before 11:30 p.m.

Witnesses also report that a gun was flashed during the altercation.

The victim is currently being treated at Rhode Island Hospital. Campus police believe this to be an isolated incident. The investigation is still ongoing.

Cedar Dell are upperclassman townhouses on the UMass campus.
