Students at technical school in Lincoln evacuated because of ‘concerning odor’

LINCOLN, R.I. (WLNE) — Students at Davies Career and Technical High School in Lincoln had to be evacuated from the school Monday because of a “concerning odor.”
The students, according to school officials, were moved to the Community College of Rhode Island. They were then dismissed early.
Families were notified of the incident.
While it wasn’t immediately known what caused the “concerning” smell, the school is working with “emergency services and safety services” to find the cause.
