Study says Rhode Island has the worst roads in the country

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Construction Coverage analyzed data that placed the Ocean State at the top of their list of  states with the worst roads in the U.S.

The company used data from the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration to determine the top 15 states with the worst roads.

Their report said 38% of Rhode Island roads are in poor condition, while 24% were reported to be in good condition, making it home to the country’s worst roads.

Connecticut placed seventh and Massachusetts ranked fourth.

The data shows East Coast states were ranked some of the top states with the worst roads.
