Impressively rainy Saturday with more than an inch of beneficial rain reported from Attleboro to Warwick to South Kingstown. Even more rain is coming tonight. A cold front will bring rounds of locally heavy rainfall and the chance of thunderstorms. Overnight rainfall has the potential of an additional 1-2 inches of rain. It will become gusty as this front comes through tonight with gusts topping 30 mph. Overnight lows will be warm in the upper-50s. Early Sunday everything changes. showers and clouds head out to sea before mid-morning followed by a day full of sunshine. Sunday will be much warmer too with highs in the lower-70s. We are going back into another long dry stretch of weather. We are looking seasonable with highs near 70 all week long.
