PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The temperatures heat up as you break away from the seabreeze along the coast.
Showers develop to the west, but fall apart as it approaches us. We could see a spot shower/sprinkle this afternoon (less than 10%.)
Air Quality Alert has been issued by the Rhode Island DEM for today from 11 a.m. to 11 p/m.
The tropical air is returning as we head towards the weekend.
A front stalls out to the west of us, but finally makes it towards us late Thursday and that means more unsettled weather will return overnight Thursday night. For Friday, thunderstorms will kick off the morning commute and look to taper off in. the afternoon.
