Sunny but cooler today, some rain this weekend

Warmer than average temperatures for Saturday & Sunday

A bit cooler outside this morning compared to the very mild start we experienced yesterday. Plenty of sunshine today but it will be cooler with highs in the low 40s. Low 40s are average highs for the end of February. We won’t have to deal with the gusty winds from yesterday, just a light breeze from the northwest today. Tonight clouds will increase with overnight temperatures in the upper 20s.

Rain moves into the area through the morning Saturday. Rain will continue through the day with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Around half an inch of rain expected for most locations. Expect some fog to develop in spots as well. You can also expect a bit of a breeze from the southeast. The rain will dry the area by the late-afternoon/early-evening. We clear out overnight with lows staying in the mid to upper 30s, so ice shouldn’t be a widespread issue.

Mostly cloudy with some pops of sunshine on Sunday. It’ll still be mild for our last day of the month, expect highs in the upper 40s. Into the late-afternoon/early-evening, another round of light rain moves in. Scattered rain falls overnight and into early Monday. From there we clear out and highs will be around 50°.

Tuesday looks sunny but much cooler with highs only in the 30s. It will also be quite windy which will make it feel much cooler. The good news is that the cool-down doesn’t last long, back into the low to mid 40s by Wednesday afternoon.
