PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — We have a high pressure system that has taken over our weather pattern for most of the week.
Expect a lot of sunshine and dry weather today, tomorrow, and Thursday. 
Thursday evening the humidity starts to creep back in and on Friday we have a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
If you are headed to beach or you do a little boating- today is your day! The water will be flat today and tomorrow.
