Sunshine and Melting
2 to 4 inches of snow fell from the shore to the western hills but it will all melt by Friday. As our storm system pulls away today and intensifies, a brisk northerly wind will make it feel 10 to 15 degrees colder than the thermometer shows. Expect and dress for typical December weather with cold nights and days through Wednesday as high pressure to our north brings us a wintry air mass. The next system headed our way will arrive Thursday night with rain showers that deliver a wet Friday. Next weekend we’ll dry out and return to some sunshine and seasonal temperatures once again
