Sunshine and warmer temperatures Thursday

High pressure is still in charge today meaning lots of sunshine. When we combine this day of sunshine with a warmer westerly wind, we will see even warmer temperatures this afternoon, topping out on the doorstep of 80. There is a chance of an isolated shower late this afternoon/ evening due to the heating of the day, but most will see this as a dry day. Partly cloudy skies will be with us overnight and Friday looks pretty similar. Look for another sun-filled and very warm day with highs in the lower-80s. There is even the chance of an isolated pop-up shower late in the day. The weekend looks very warm to start with highs in the 80s for Saturday. A cold front Saturday will bring a chanc eof showers and cooler temperatures for Mother’s Day on Sunday. Mom will have cooler temperatures with highs in the upper-60s.
