St. Bernard Parish, LA (WLNE) – The St. Bernard Parish Government in Louisiana posted video showing just how much flooding has already happened because of Hurricane Ida.  The parish government posted surveillance video from Fire Station #12 in Delacroix. The video shows how several spots went from being fairly dry to covered in feet of water within one hour.  Delacroix sits to the southeast of New Orleans, right along the Gulf Coast. Hurricane Ida made landfall near Port Fourchon, LA at 12:55pm eastern Sunday. At the time of landfall, Ida was a powerful category four hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph. The images above show before-and-after photos of flooded areas taken only about one hour apart.
