Suspect, 29, arrested in Fall River shooting

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police arrested a 29-year-old man in connection to a shooting in Fall River Saturday night.

Armando Rivera Angulo was arrested for the shooting on Saint Joseph Street that sent one 60-year-old man to the hospital with possible life threatening injuries from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim, whose name wasn’t immediately released, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital and where he’s stable.

Police said Angulo fired multiple shots in the direction of the victim outside a home on Saint Joseph Street during an argument outside the home between two women.

Angulo was charged with armed assault to murder, assault and battery by discharging a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm without a license to carry, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.
