Police have arrested the suspect wanted in a rash of overnight burglaries in Seekonk.

27-year-old James Stanzione was arrested Monday after police say he broke into numerous homes in July. They say Stanzione would cut screens and push windows open to gain entry into the homes on Cynthia Road, Luther Street, Watson Street, and Cole Street.

Police also obtained surveillance video where Stanzione was seen using a victim's debit card at a local gas station.

After obtaining a tip on his whereabouts, police located Stanzione in an East Providence apartment where he was taken into custody.

Stanzione has previous addresses in Taunton and Fall River and pending arrest warrants in Rhode Island. He was also a fugitive from justice. He is now pending charges in Massachusetts for the burglaries.
