A suspect in a fatal shooting near New York City’s Penn Station has been arrested in Rhode Island.

The suspect, 23-year-old Francisco Alsina, was arrested in Cranston, Rhode Island, according to U.S. Marshals.

Three men were shot on Monday at a subway entrance near Penn Station, following a confrontation at a McDonald’s. A 43-year-old man shot in the neck was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other victims were hospitalized.

Alsina was arraigned Thursday, charged with possession of a firearm after a violent crime and as a fugitive of justice from New York. He was held without bail. He is scheduled to be back in court for a fugitive hearing on November 24th.

The NYPD took a suspect into custody on Thursday and questioned him in the shooting, but a police spokesman says that suspect has not been charged in the shooting.
