TAUNTON, M.A. (WLNE) — Two thieves were charged with felony breaking and entering after ransacking a Taunton church and even helping themselves to wine inside.
40-year-old Steven Ferreira and 30-year-old Heather Cornell are accused of spray painting the Star of David with the numbers ‘six-six-six’ on a wall.
Perverse language was also written on the walls.
The former church is being used by the Coyle and Cassidy Catholic Schools for teacher housing.
Authorities say the school doesn’t know why they were targeted.
