Suspects linked to bank robbery in Taunton arrested

TAUNTON, MASS (WLNE) – Two were arrested and charged with the robbery of a Santander Bank that happened on January 13th. 

Police responded to 188 Broadway, for the reported robbery at 12:18 p.m.

According to police, officers were informed that the suspects had left the scene on foot after stealing an undisclosed amount of money. 

As a result of an initial investigation conducted by Taunton Detectives, working with Mass State Police and the FBI, the suspects were believed to be two white males. 

One male was described as 5’7″ tall with facial hair, wearing a red sweatshirt and Patriots knit hat, and the other male was described at 6′ tall wearing a grey sweatshirt, dark pants, with black and white sneakers.

Pictures of the suspects were released. 

The two males were located and taken into custody and will be arraigned in court on Monday for the robbery.
