Suspects Nabbed in Fall River Murder
An investigation into a Fall River murder that took place back in February has produced two suspects.

District Attorney Sam Sutter announced that arrests were made last night in connection to the February 27th Fall River shooting murder of 25-year-old Jonathan Nieves.
Erroll Powell, 21, of 194 Fifth St., was arrested last night at his home and charged with Nieves' murder.
Delma Sadm, 26, also of 194 Fifth St., was also arrested last night and charged with being an accessory to murder after the fact. Both defendants were held overnight and will be arraigned today in Fall River District Court.
The three-and-a-half month long investigation into the Nieves slaying was coordinated by Co-First Assistant District Attorney William McCauley and Assistant District Attorney Stephen “Chuck” Nadeau of District Attorney Sutter's Homicide Unit.
Investigators from District Attorney Sutter's State Police Detectives Unit partnered with detectives from the Fall River Police Department led the investigation in the killing.
Mr. Nieves, of 409 Alden St., was killed on Charles Street, between Bowen and Bay streets, as a result of gunfire around 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 27th.
