SWANSEA, Mass. (WLNE) — A Swansea man agreed to plead guilty to child pornography charges in court Tuesday, according to United States Attorney Rachael Rollins.

Todd Miozza, 58, was arrested in June for allegedly obtaining child pornography through a social media platform.

During a search of Miozza’s home, his phone and laptop were seized, which investigators said contained videos of infants.

During Tuesday’s hearing, Miozza pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

The court deferred acceptance of the proposed plea agreement until sentencing, scheduled for Jan. 19.

Miozza was previously convicted for possession of child pornography in 2002.

If convicted, the crime carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison.
