NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — North Attleborough police said the town’s high school was one of several schools that received a fake “swatting” call Monday, prompting a lockdown.

Police said a man called the business line at the police station and threatened the high school. Officers locked down the school and searched the building and parking lot.

“Nothing suspicious was located,” said police.

Police said a further investigation revealed that “swatting” calls also wen out to other Massachusetts schools.
