Swifties swarm Gillette Stadium for night one of Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ Tour

FOXBORO, M.A. (WLNE) — Fans were pumped up for night one of Taylor Swift’s “Eras” Tour at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Swift took the stage just before 8 p.m.

Around 200,000 ecstatic fans are expected to head to Gillette over the course of this weekend to watch the one and only Taylor Swift.

“We love Taylor!” shouted fans. “Taylor, Taylor, Taylor, Taylor!”

“Swiftie” fans of all ages began flocking to the stadium well before 2:30 p.m., Saturday night. The concert started at 6:30 p.m.

“It’s just a blast, she’s right, its a dream come true,” said one concert-goer.

Not only did Swift fans fight tooth-and-nail for tickets, they also put lots of effort into their outfits – inspired by all of Taylor Swift’s different albums.

“Really difficult, hours on end, but we got them on ticket master so I feel we’re really lucky,” explained another attendee about their ticket-buying experience.

“As soon as I saw this dress I was like I need it to get that for speak now because that’s my favorite album,” explained one girl.

Another attendee says this weekend will be a celebration of people coming together with one major thing in common – their love for Miss Americana herself.

“It’s a celebration a celebration of all the songs, of how we feel when we listen to her music, all the fans coming together, it’s definitely a festival,” said a Swift fan.

It’s the singers first tour since 2019, and needles to say some people have been waiting their entire lives for this moment.

“I just can’t wait to see Taylor Swift to be honest, I can’t believe she’s even a real person,” another fan exclaimed.

Fans are looking forward to the next two nights of the “Eras” Tour concerts at Gillette Stadium.
