Systemwide outage causes delays with major airlines

BOSTON, MASS (WLNE) – A systemwide computer outage with Sabre, the program used for airport bookings, caused significant delays at Logan International Airport on Friday morning.

The outage affected the check-in and boarding systems for American Airlines and JetBlue.

ABC6 reached out to the Rhode Island Airport Corporation to see if any of the Ocean State’s airlines were impacted or share the Sabre system.

Some American Airline flights are experiencing delays according to the TF Green website.
