T.F. Green says threat that prompted lockdown, halted traffic is unfounded

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport said the threat that prompted a lockdown on Friday was unfounded.

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation lifted the lockdown at about 12:30 p.m.

Authorities said there was no credible threat after the area saw significant traffic delays amid the emergency response.

Those flying out of T.F. Green on Friday are advised to check their airlines for delays.
