WARWICK, RI (WLNE) – The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) has reached an agreement with the New England Patriots for marketing and advertising rights in exchange for waived airport fees at T.F. Green Airport through June 30, 2025.

The agreement between the two ensures that the Patriots team aircraft will remain parked on T.F. Green Airport’s taxiway when it is not in use.

It will also ensure that T.F. Green Airport keeps the title as the “official airport of the New England Patriots.”

RIAC says this is especially valuable given that airline consultants have suggested that the name of the airport be changed to help raise awareness of the airport’s location.

Airport officials have the right to relocate the aircraft to an alternative site should the need arise, according to RIAC.
