Taunton bridge demolition scheduled for Friday is postponed

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The bridge demolition that was scheduled to occur Friday night in Taunton has been postponed.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced that the demolition of the Route 24 northbound bridge will be rescheduled.

The operation was set to begin at 7 p.m. and end early Saturday morning.

The DOT also advised drivers to check weather forecasts and traffic conditions before leaving home.
