Temperatures Trending Colder this Week
Time to get out the flannel sheets! With a change in our weather pattern, we have swung from a near record warm temperature trend to much colder than average trend starting today. This new trend is going to stick around through the entire week with lows dropping into the 20s and highs topping in the 40s – a full 10 degrees colder than average. With the colder temperature trend, it’s important to look for precipitation, after all, we will be cold enough to support wintry precipitation. Clouds will increase Tuesday and with colder temperatures in place, a wintry mix of snow and rain will develop after 8pm. By 3am, we will see the mix transition to rain, yielding little to no accumulation. Rain starts off your Wednesday and highs top out near 50, making it the milderst day of the week. After then, expect lots of sun through the weekend and colder temperatures through the weekend.
