Islanders rally to beat Bruins
UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) – Matt Moulson, Michael Grabner and Jack
Hillen scored in a 6-minutes span in the second and third periods
to help the New York Islanders rally for a 4-2 victory over the
Boston Bruins on Friday night.
P.A. Parenteau added an empty-net goal, and Al Montoya made 26
saves for New York. The Islanders have won 12 of 17 games following
the All-Star break.
Nathan Horton and Zdeno Chara scored for the Bruins. Chara,
booed every time he touched the puck, was playing his second game
since his devastating check to Max Pacioretty that sent the
Montreal left wing to the hospital with a severe concussion and
non-displaced fracture of the fourth vertebrae Tuesday night.
